Mobile telecommunications company T-Mobile was sued over its alleged use of facial recognition technology in New York City stores, Bloomberg reports. The plaintiff accuses the company of collecting biometric information without her consent. The proposed class-action lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
