Fortune reports that a court in Switzerland has fined a man more than $4,000 for clicking Facebook's "like" button on what is considered a derogatory comment. The questionable comment liked by the man suggested animal rights group activist Erwin Kessler holds racist and anti-Semitic views. Kessler has sued several people involved in the social networking discussions, some of whom have been found guilty of defamation. According to the latest court case, the judge ruled that clicking the "like" button meant the defendant "clearly endorsed the unseemly content." This appears to be the first time a person has been found guilty for hitting the "like" button on another user's comment section, the report states.
