The largest insurer in Sweden, Folksam, announced it accidentally shared the data of about 1 million customers to several large technology companies, Reuters reports. The insurer shared the information with Google, Facebook, Microsoft and LinkedIn. Folksam Head of Marketing Jens Wikstrom said the insurer has stopped sharing the information with the tech companies and requested the information to be deleted. Folksam reported the breach to Sweden's data protection authority, Datainspektionen.
