The Swedish Data Protection Authority, Datainspektionen, announced it has launched an investigation into Spotify over its handling of customer requests under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Telecompaper reports. The DPA said it received complaints about Spotify’s record keeping. Spotify allegedly does not include data it needs to fulfill Articles 15(1) and 15(2) of the GDPR. Further, the DPA found copies of private information issued under Article 15(3) do not include all the personal information needed about the streaming service’s users.
