A survey performed by MediaPro found 75 percent of U.S. employees put their companies at risk of a cyberattack, TechRepublic reports. For the survey, more than 1,000 staff members were asked about their cybersecurity knowledge and awareness. Financial organizations have had the most difficulty with their staff members in this area, as 85 percent of employees in the industry displayed an insufficient understanding of data privacy and security. Management positions displayed riskier behavior compared to their employees. Of the respondents polled, 77 percent of executives showed a lack of privacy and security recognition compared to 74 percent of other employees.
