A survey conducted by Harris Poll and Finn Partners found Americans want companies to address data privacy, USA Today reports. The two companies asked 2,000 U.S. citizens to identify the social issues they want organizations to tackle. Of the respondents, 65 percent said data privacy was one of the top areas they want entities to pay more attention to, followed by health care at 61 percent and support for military veterans at 59 percent. "When it comes down to it, people want companies to address the issues that they struggle with every day like safety, security and health," said Finn Partners Senior Partner Amy Terpeluk. "Companies that address these needs can build their reputation and in turn strengthen their business."
