The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom dismissed a 3 billion GBP ($4 billion) data protection class action lawsuit against Google Nov. 10. The suit sought compensation on behalf of 4.4 million people in England and Wales and claimed Google collected users’ personal data from the Safari browser between August 2011 and February 2012.
