A U.S. Soccer suit contained the personal information of its players, including home and email addresses, The New York Times reports. “Naturally, we’re upset,” said Megan Rapinoe, a midfielder with U.S. Soccer. “We feel that our personal information, our privacy and our safety was handled frivolously and with real negligence.” In a statement, U.S. Soccer chalked the incident up to an “unintentional” clerical error, adding that a redacted filing had been resubmitted. “We understand mistakes happen, but this is one that can’t happen,” Rapinoe said.
