A new study, Cybersecurity Risk in Asia, highlights that 67 percent of security professionals throughout Asia expect a major breach affecting multiple countries will likely occur within the next two years, Dark Reading reports. An additional 72 percent said they believed their own organizations would likely be forced to respond to a major breach within the next year. While respondents pointed to recent actions by Russia, China and North Korea as a cause for concern, a lack of resources, staffing and funds compounded the poor forecast. The study, published by Black Hat Asia, includes responses from 96 IT and security professionals.
