A study conducted by Usercentrics looked at the amount of ad server and tracker requests made by websites in Germany, the U.K. and U.S. to determine whether the EU General Data Protection Regulation has made an impact on these inquires, Forbes reports. The study found German websites had, on average, made 85 ad server and eight tracking requests, with the U.K. posting 300 ad server and 18 tracking inquiries. In comparison, the U.S. sites had 414 and 25 ad server and tracking requests, respectively.
