Research by the Chief Marketing Officer Council found 44% of consumers favor biometrics for authentication over other methods, Biometric Update reports. Thirty-four percent of the 2,000 consumers surveyed prefer biometrics if the system is secure, while 10% prefer passwords or other methods of authentication, and 81% said they prefer to work with companies that verify their identity “simply, quickly, and safely.”
