The H1 2021 Delisted Apps Report by privacy and analytics platform Pixalate found 59% and 25% of applications removed from Apple and Google’s stores, respectively, did not have a privacy policy, VentureBeat reports. Eighty-six percent of the 813,000 apps removed from the Google Play and Apple App stores targeted children 12 and under. The report analyzed more than 5 million apps, finding consumer privacy and security risks.
