A survey conducted on behalf of Egress found 52% of U.K. “decision-makers” said their companies are not fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Of the 250 people polled, 35% said the majority of their compliance activities took place before the GDPR’s implementation date; however, it has dropped down on their list of priorities since 25 May 2018. The study found 37% of respondents had reported an incident to the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office since the GDPR went into effect, with 17% saying they had done so more than once.
