A Concord, California, high school student has been arrested for allegedly targeting teachers in a phishing campaign, Ars Technica reports. The student, who is a minor, allegedly designed a campaign to capture teacher credentials to an online grade portal, which he then allegedly used to change the grades of 10 to 15 students. The student granted an interview with a local TV station when he claimed it took only five minutes to develop the phishing email. It is unclear what the student is charged with at this time, but the associate general counsel for the Mount Diablo Unified School District confirmed an investigation "is underway... that affords due process for all involved."
