A coalition of state attorneys general called on Congress to give the U.S. Federal Trade Commission increased powers to combat fraudulent and anticompetitive activity. In a letter to members of Congress, the attorneys general show their support for the Consumer Protection and Recovery Act, which enhances the FTC's ability to obtain monetary relief for consumers impacted by bad actors.
