Last week, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s website went down after its computer systems were hacked, resulting in the leak of several unreleased movies. Cybersecurity blogger Brian Krebs has since said hackers may have also stolen personal information on tens of thousands of Sony employees, Business Insider reports. The 25 to 27 GB of sensitive data appears to have included Social Security numbers, medical and salary information, and hackers may have also destroyed data on an unknown number of internal Sony systems. Security researcher Dan Tentler said the group believed to be responsible, Guardians of Peace, is now handing out some of that information. Sony has not commented.
