Voxy reports former Privacy Commissioner and Cabinet Secretary Marie Shroff has been selected to chair the Community Reference Group, providing input for a review of the Kapiti Coast District Council’s Long Term Plan (LTP). "We are extremely fortunate to have been able to secure someone of the calibre of Ms. Shroff to chair the Reference Group," said Mayor Ross Church. "Ms. Shroff’s expertise will ensure the Reference Group operates with a high degree of transparency and accountability and delivers robust council outcomes for inclusion in the draft LTP." The group will include “members put forward by of a broad range of Kapiti Coast organisations representing cultural, education, sporting, business and community interest,” the report states, noting it will begin its work in June.
