A settlement agreement has been proposed in a lawsuit over the Iowa-based grocery store chain Hy-Vee data breach that impacted customer payment card data, InfoSecurity Magazine reports. The agreement would enable victims to submit reimbursement claims up to $225, while plaintiffs named in the 2019 class-action complaint would receive an additional $2,000. Customers who saw “extraordinary expenses” due to the breach may claim up to $5,000.
