U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., sent a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey after the platform was hacked in a cryptocurrency scheme. Several high-profile accounts posted messages asking for the transfer of bitcoins under false pretenses. Hawley called upon Dorsey to reach out to the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the incident, as well as answer whether anyone's data was stolen during the attack and if it was the users' accounts or Twitter's systems that were compromised.
