The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is ordering Wall Street banks to search through more than 100 personal mobile phones of traders and bankers in key positions to gauge their communications through unauthorized messaging platforms, Bloomberg reports. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and others said they are fielding inquiries. Some companies are turning to outside attorneys to conduct the reviews due to the sensitive nature of the requests, asking that they look for business-related messages.
