An anticipated executive order by Seattle, Washington’s mayor will require police to turn on body cameras during public protests, GeekWire reports. A policy designed to protect protestors’ privacy has prevented the cameras’ use during recent demonstrations. Civil rights groups have raised concerns that police could track and target protesters. Meanwhile, Nashville, Tennessee, is updating its policy for sharing COVID-19 data with first responders to maintain data exclusively on a secure server for a maximum of 14 days.
