Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner Ronald Kruzeniski called a survey given to 900 Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation members an "egregious privacy breach,” Global News reports. The survey asked teachers to score students based on several sets of criteria and would identify each student by their initials. While their names were not used, Kruzeniski said in a report the metrics incorporated in the survey would create a “unique profile” that would allow students to still be identified.
