The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Saskatchewan announced updates to its rules of procedures for processing reviews and investigations related to access to information requests and privacy complaints will take effect Sept. 1. These updates will affect reviews and investigations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and the Health Information Protection Act. Additionally, the IPC will not share draft reports with public bodies or trustees to review.
