The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said a Russian hacker group “successfully compromised” U.S. government networks and “exfiltrated data,” ZDNet reports. The group obtained sensitive network configurations and passwords, standard operating procedures, password reset requests, and more. Meanwhile, security researchers located databases for sale on several hacker forums containing sensitive personal information of 186 million U.S. voters, including names, addresses, contact details and political affiliation.
