In this week's Privacy Tracker global legislative roundup, Belgium's Data Protection Authority released a report on its work since the EU General Data Protection Regulation went into effect. Denmark released its annual report for 2019. Germany's Federal Court of Justice asked the Court of Justice of the European Union for its opinion on an ongoing privacy case. Thailand delayed the enforcement of the Personal Data Protection Act until 2021. And in the U.S., the House of Representatives pulled a vote on the reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois filed a lawsuit against Clearview AI.
