The Jacobs Urban Tech Hub at Cornell Tech outlined the measures New York City should take to protect residents' privacy, Government Technology reports. One of the major recommendations made by the Tech Hub is for the city to create a privacy law to regulate how agencies use and share data. The report also advises establishing transparency requirements for private sector vendors and for the New York Police Department to obtain warrants to access information.
