Californians for Consumer Privacy announced U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., offered his endorsement for the passage of the California Privacy Rights Act ballot initiative. Khanna called Proposition 24 a "monumental step" for solidifying consumer privacy and acknowledged that it gives consumers "the tools necessary to hold corporations accountable for collecting and misusing our most personal information." Khanna added that the CPRA will also "set the bar for the rest of the nation to follow suit."
