Tū Ora Compass Health has revealed a data breach may have affected nearly 1 million patients, Stuff reports. The primary health organization first learned of the attack in August, and while it is unclear which patient files were accessed, the PHO’s computer system contains data such as enrollment information, names and addresses that could be linked back to individual patients. The breach, dating back to 2016, affected patients who enrolled in one of the medical centers in the region between 2002 and 2019.
