Data is considered an asset, but one that increasingly hinges on consumer trust. Adobe Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer Alisa Bergman and Uber Director of Privacy Engineering, Architecture and Analytics Nishant Bhajaria said prior and ongoing investments in data privacy that generate "a privacy-by-design approach leveraging technology-enabled data governance" can help capture the required trust. Bergman and Bhajaria dive deeper into privacy by design and related concepts that can be applied to "understand what data they have, how it can be used or re-used, and what compliance investments are needed to realize its benefits."
