The Wall Street Journal reports trading application Robinhood experienced a data breach exposing the information of about 7 million users Nov. 3. The company stated an unauthorized party accessed their systems by deceiving a customer service representative over the phone and, after accessing the information, demanded a ransom payment. Compromised data included the email addresses of approximately 5 million users, full names of 2 million users and more sensitive personal information of more than 300 users.
