  • Among the 50,000 phone numbers surveilled by NSO Group’s “Pegasus” software were hundreds of politicians and government officials, including the French, Iraqi, and South African presidents, 10 prime ministers and a king, The Washington Post reports. NSO disputed the list had anything to do with surveillance.
  • An Amazon Web Services spokesperson said it shut down “relevant infrastructure and accounts” linked to NSO Group, Vice reports. An Amnesty International investigation found Amazon’s CloudFront infrastructure was used in deployments of NSO’s software.
