A bill sitting before Brazil's Chamber of Deputies would establish a legal framework for the use of artificial intelligence by the government, companies and individuals within the country. Under the framework, an “AI agent” would be tasked to ensure any use of the technology is in compliance with the country’s General Data Protection Law.
