The Future of Privacy Forum and the Israel Tech Policy Institute launched the Privacy Tech Alliance in Tel Aviv June 25. The alliance will connect researchers and startups with partners and funders to bring promising technologies to market. Goals of the event include supporting collaboration among companies, promoting the adoption of privacy technologies by government and the private sector, and defining a new industry sector for tech companies and consumers. Editor’s Note: The IAPP’s Ryan Chiavetta, CIPP/US, wrote about the creation of the Privacy Tech Alliance for Privacy Tech.
