Reuters reports the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California will allow a class-action privacy lawsuit against Apple over its Siri voice assistant to proceed. Judge Jeffrey White ruled plaintiffs will be able to try to prove allegations Siri accidentally recorded conversations and those recordings were then shared with third parties for various purposes, including targeted advertising. White said Siri's private mode offering "is enough to show a reasonable expectation of privacy."
