Google Chrome’s plan to eliminate third-party cookies is facing growing concern from publishers that want concrete details on how its Privacy Sandbox proposal will impact operations, Adweek reports. In the U.K., Marketers for an Open Web has requested an injunction on the proposal, filing a complaint with the Competition and Markets Authority. “Separate developments underline just how crucial it is that Google strikes the right balance between user privacy while sustaining competition in the online advertising market,” the report stated.
