A spokesperson for Alberta Information and Privacy Commissioner Jill Clayton said a privacy review of telehealth app Babylon could take a year or more, CBC News reports. Developer Telus Health submitted a privacy impact assessment before launching the app. Commissioner Spokesperson Scott Sibbald said due to the volume of cases before the office, it could take a year to assign the review. Critics are concerned the app puts individuals’ health information at risk.
