Arch Insurance Group's Netsafe 2.0 works to defend a company's liability, data and income from breaches of all stripes. The 2.0 iteration of its cyberinsurance comes after 10 years of existing similar coverage. This version is available on a "stand-alone basis" or can be combed "by endorsement to the Arch Corporate Canopy private company management liability package policy."
Tenta, a browser that boasts privacy and encryption, has announced the release of its beta launch in Google Play. The browser automatically encrypts everything from users' open tabs to IPS address and web history. It also boasts Tenta Zones, a feature that allows users to "group" the tabs and sessions by VPN server location. The app is free on Google Play.
Reviewed positively by the likes of Edward Snowden and Bruce Schneier, the Open Whisper app givers users free end-to-end encryption of text and video messages, without having to change their phone number or contacts. The app also has an archive functionality, making text organization easy. Open Whisper is available in both the iTunes Store and Google Play.
Betternet's free VPN doesn't require users to provide any personal information to access. Instead, users can just download and hit "connect" to begin privately browsing. The VPN is available for Windows, Firefox and Chrome browsers, as well as iOS and Android apps for mobile.
