  • Privacy Across Borders launched a website to explore solutions to issues surrounding trans-Atlantic data flows. The organization also released the “PAB Resource Guide” with resources relevant to the "Schrems II" case. Senior Project Director Alex Joel said the goal is to “develop workable approaches that put digital data flows on a sustainable footing” long-term while balancing privacy and national security protections.
  • The Center for Democracy & Technology appointed Eric Null as director of its Privacy & Data Project. Null formerly oversaw U.S. technology and digital rights policy in the U.S. for Access Now and helped develop the consumer privacy program at New America’s Open Technology Institute.
