The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit denied immunity to Arkansas police officers accused of privacy violations after records of sex abuse claims against reality TV star Josh Duggar were released, Courthouse News Service reports. Five of Duggar's sisters were minors when police investigated allegations of sexual assault and were promised the reports would be kept confidential. Being identified as a minor victim of sexual abuse is markedly more intrusive than being identified as a survivalist, failed police academy applicant, or over-stressed police chief,” U.S. Circuit Judge Lavenski Smith wrote.
