The National Privacy Commission of the Philippines is looking into several cases of alleged internet hacking that occurred in the country, the Philippine News Agency reports. “The National Privacy Commission has gathered reports and claims of alleged hacking incidents of certain websites that may have involved personal data,” Privacy Commissioner Raymund Liboro said. Discovered April 1, the hacks involved individual accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Wattpad and other websites operated by public and private organizations. NPC officials are awaiting reports from the affected websites on the details of the breaches and possible information involved in each incident.
