The Peruvian Presidency of the Council of Ministers announced it consolidated its actions to protect citizens against risks and threats in cyberspace, Andina reports. The body is charged with digital security in the country and created a technical group to propose actions and measures designed to strengthen digital trust. The Ministry of Interior, Osiptel, Indecopi, the Ministry of Justice, Asbanc, Comex, Afin, and Peru’s four telecommunications companies in the country would take part in the process. Additionally, 35,000 public officials have been trained in digital security.
