Lew Chuen Hong has taken over as chief executive of Infocomm Media Development Authority and commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission as Tan Kiat How steps down from the role. Serving as commissioner since 2017, Tan led guided development of the PDPC’s Model AI Governance Framework as well as the Data Protection Officer Competency Framework. Lew, previously the IMDA’s deputy chief executive, will “build on IMDA and PDPC’s efforts in developing a thriving and inclusive digital future for Singapore.”
