In an online discussion on personal data in the digital age, Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Informatics Application Director General Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan said everyone plays a role in protecting personal data. Pangerapan said the country can act by prioritizing the Personal Data Protection Act, currently under consideration by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. House of Representatives Commission I Member Muhammad Farhan said the bill is a priority this year.
