Paul Ohm
This fall, Georgetown University Law Center will welcome Paul Ohm as a faculty director for its Center on Privacy and Technology. Much of Ohm’s scholarship has focused on developing technology and its impacts on individual privacy, and he hopes to spark further debate on the topic. Ohm will be leaving his positions as associate dean for academic affairs and associate professor of law at the University of Colorado Law School, where he taught such classes as computer crime law and information privacy. Before he was a law professor, he was a federal clerk, a trial attorney and senior policy advisor to the Federal Trade Commission. Now Ohm plans to continue research that may very well affect policy in a world of rapidly developing technology.
