Deepali Doddi, CIPP/US, will join Ice Miller as a data security and privacy associate. Before Ice Miller, Doddi served in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights as an investigator. Her breadth of knowledge and prior experience ... uniquely situates her to advise clients — particularly in the healthcare industry — on privacy and security policies and procedures, risk analyses and risk management plans, incident response plans, business associate agreements, and compliance with HIPAA,” said Data Security and Privacy Co-Chair Stephen Reynolds, CIPP/US.
The Center for Digital Democracy will welcome Katharina Kopp, Ph.D, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, June 6 as its newest deputy director and director of policy. “We are privileged to have Katharina Kopp join [the] CDD,” said CDD Executive Director Jeff Chester. “Her unique leadership qualities and rich background will shape the organization’s agenda in this important new phase of our work. This includes forging partnerships with global NGOs, research institutions, and community-based organizations.” Prior to her upcoming role at the CDD, Kopp worked as director of the Center for Democracy and Technology’s Privacy and Data Project.
