The Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore has taken enforcement action against 11 organizations for breaching the Personal Data Protection Act, The Business Times reports. K Box Entertainment Group suffered the most severe penalty, fined $50,000 Singapore dollars, for allegedly not taking sufficient action to protect the data of 317,000 members following a September 2014 breach. Following a smaller breach involving 900 customers, Fei Fah Medical Manufacturing was fined SG$5,000. The PDPC said the enforcement actions depended on the severity of noncompliance.
