Commissioner Stephen Wong said residents should be cautious of the app’s ability to gather personal data, while adding the importance of understanding an application’s privacy policy before a citizen downloads it on their phone. Wong also warned citizens of downloading fraudulent applications from non-official platforms, while recommending players to understand the risks they face when downloading “game guides and cheat-sheet software.”
