European Parliament's Internal Market Committee voted 43-1 to approve the provisional agreement on the proposed Digital Markets Act between Parliament and the Council of the European Union. German Member of European Parliament Andreas Schwab said Parliament "stands united against the unfair practices of gatekeepers" and stressed the desire to "fast-track this law while making it better." The DMA and the proposed Digital Services Act are expected to be placed before Parliament in July for a final vote.
