Stakeholders have a Feb. 25 deadline to email their comments, which will not be made public once submitted. Privacy advocates are expected to express their concerns with the bill, including government exemptions and data use. Meanwhile, industry stakeholders are also likely to comment on the bill's government concerns but will discuss issues with compliance costs and risks for startups and other industry players.
