The European Parliament announced final approval of the EU's COVID-19 certificates. Citizens will be issued a quick response code carrying information proving vaccination, negative test result or recovery from a COVID-19 infection. The legislative text for the program must now be adopted by the Council of Europe and published in the Official Journal before the one-year program can officially launch July 1.
